Pixar Gardens Park - a Themed Overlay Exercise

In late 2023 I began pursuing 3D modeling exercises in order to continue improving my skills as a themed entertainment designer and modeler. One exercise was creating a concept for an overlay of the Paradise Gardens Park area of Disney California Adventure in Anaheim, California. This included an overlay of the Paradise Gardens Grill seating area and multiple subtle attraction rethemes. The goal would be to integrate the area into the Pixar Neighborhoods associated with Pixar Pier while giving them it distinctly Californian, Mission-Revival styled identity. Below are some images from the overlay I've been developing, which I will update as more is added.
The story behind the paradise gardens seating area is that it was once a bustling train yard in the early 20th century. The Mission Revival architecture style is reminiscent of many California train stations, which have historically used that style. The main station, dubbed the "Grand Terminal", takes the place of the current Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta location. There, guests are served from a mock up of a train that has openings acting as countertops to grab their food and leave to checkout. The layout and guest flow is identical to that of current operations, but the interior has been redone with a lot of brick and tile to evoke Spanish influence.
Along the backside of the restaurant is a newly created berm acting as hills in the distance. These would run along the back of the restaurant and what is currently known as Goofy's Sky School before making a leap over the parade route gate in a way similar to a seaside arch. The berm could then continue along the backside of the Incredicoaster, preferably blocking out views of Katella Avenue. Along the parade route as modified lampposts, which have replaced the "orb" lights with traditional Spanish inspired lamppost heads. These would have spiraling ornamentation underneath to compliment the top-heavy design. The brewery between the current day Jumpin' Jellyfish and Silly Symphony Swings would also be given tiled roofing and a blue tile base underneath the counter. Horchata's and other Mexican inspired food and beverage could be offered at these locations.
The current Paradise Gardens Grill would be renamed to The Roundhouse, taking inspiration from the railyard theming of the surroundings. The exterior would take on the look of a brick facade with arches to walk under into an open air but covered space as there exists today. This venue would have the rotating menu it has today with a refreshed exterior to better suit the new direction. Other attractions include the Soul Swings and a Luca themed wild-mouse coaster, with design mock-ups coming soon.
